Description
This document will show you how to how to create and manage your Network Profiles which assist you in managing your network footprint, validate numbers for portability to your SPID and assist with pre-populating data in your orders.
To View Network Profiles
- Login to PortControl and navigate to the Network Profile screen.
- Once there you can see a list of Network Profiles and see the associated LRN, LATA and a brief description.
To Create Network Profiles
- Login to PortControl and navigate to the Network Profile screen.
- Select Create.
- Select Network Profile.
- You can then input any LATA, LRN and Description then if you want to add additional data you can (the rest is optional)
- Select save changes.
To Modify Network Profiles
- Login to PortControl an navigate to the Network Profile screen.
- Find the Network Profile that needs modified and select the icon.
- You can then update any necessary information including LATA, LRN or additional data.
To Use Network Profile
- Login to PortControl and navigate to your Orders Dashboard.
- Once you create an order, you will then have auto populated the information based off your Network Profile.
To Delete Network Profiles
- Login to PortControl and navigate to the Network Profile screen.
- Find the Network Profile you would like to delete and select theicon.
- Select the delete button.
Note: Updating a Network Profile does not currently broadcast any updates to NPAC. It only applies the new profile information to any Orders created after the update was applied.
