This document will teach tell you the value of user roles which can be updated by your PortControl Admin User under the manage section.
There are four types of User Role categories:
Roles under General are going to provide read-only, or view-only access to Explore and Network data. If you want a user to be able to lookup numbers in Explore, as well as lookup LRNs, codes, blocks, and other PSTN-related items in Network, select the first two Roles. If you want your user to be able to query premium (see your MSA) features, such as CNAM and History, assign both of those Roles as well.
If you want your User to be an Organization Admin, with the ability to create additional Users, assign the Organization Admin role.
Roles under Network are going to govern whether the Create button appears on the Network page for your User. If you want your user to be able to manage your Network Profiles, select the Network Profiles role. If you want your User to be able to create blocks, codes, LRNs, etc. with NPAC, select the Manage Network Role.
If you want to provide your User only read-only access (view) to an Order, assign the Read Only role. If you want your User to be able to create Orders, and view the Order Create button and all associated features, assign the Manage Orders Role.
