Administrators have the ability to setup notifications via webhook or email subscription. Simply create a new webhook (JSON) subscription and enter a URL and have Events pushed to your external service (a great use case of this would be to have a bot in Microsoft Teams or Slack update you whenever an Event happens in PortControl (like a port-out is received)). Alternatively, Users can setup an email address to receive Event notifications. Simple enter the name for the subscription, enter an email or URL, select the Events to pass to the end-point, and then save! You then need to play (activate) the subscription (by default they are paused).
WARNING: as of 8/16/2020 these are currently per number Events! If you do a low volume of porting, then email is probably okay. However, if you perform a lot of ports, you likely do not want an email every time a new port-out SV is received or a number is activated (think hundreds of emails in your inbox). Use a webhook if possible for now, and we will look into Order-based notifications in the future. Feedback is appreciated, and more will come with CSR/LSR updates.
