Step-by-Step Instructions for a Toll-Free Number (TFN) Port-In Request

Open a New Request
- Navigate to the NumHub portal
- Select Toll-Free Tab>RespOrg Change Tab
- Select +New RespOrg Change (Port-In) on the right-hand side of the screen.

Enter Toll-Free Numbers
- On the next screen, paste your list of toll-free numbers into the "Toll-Free List" box.

Upload Required Documents
- LOA (Letter of Authorization):
- Click "Choose File" and upload the LOA.
- Ensure the file meets the required size and format.
- Bill Copy (if needed):
- Below the LOA upload section, click "Choose File" and upload the bill copy.
- Ensure it meets size and format requirements.

Add Notes (Optional)
- Enter any additional instructions in the Notes section (e.g., “Please Expedite”).

Submit the Request
- Click Save on the right-hand side to submit the port-in request.
- The standard turnaround time is 2 business days for processing.

Monitor the Request Status
- View and search all open and closed requests within the ATLAS portal.
- The Status column will indicate whether the request is Open or Closed.

Check Details & Download Documents
- Select Details on a request to:
- View the live status and the RespOrg submitted to.
- Download any uploaded documents if needed.

Handling Responses & Next Steps
- If the request is rejected or released, you will receive an email notification.
- The email will contain a report detailing the status.
- If released, a CSV file with the current toll-free number routing will be included.
- Once the TFN is released, the new RespOrg has 10 business days to provision the number with their carrier before the losing RespOrg drops translations to prevent service loss.
