Sprint Duration: May 19 – June 6, 2025
Planned Release Date: July 1, 2025
Quick Peek:
- Decimal inputs now allowed for fee fields in Deal Registration
- Fixes to internal ID display in Reports
- Settings menu now visible to all OSPs
- Phone number input enhancements in BCID Application
- Auto-date for Registrant Obligations in BCID
- Step titles added to BCID Application
- Cleaner API documentation
- Edit email address in existing Deal Registrations
Detail Changes:
1. Decimal Input Now Supported in Deal Registration Fees
- The Deal Registration Form now accepts decimal values for the following optional fields:
- Vetting Fee
- Retail Fee per Confirmed Delivery
- Platform Fee per Identity
- Previously, only whole numbers were accepted. This created friction for OSPs that charge fractional fees.
- One of our OSP partners requested this enhancement, and we’re happy to roll it out across the platform.
2. Internal ID Now Properly Displays in Reports
- The Internal ID field, which is required in the Deal Registration form, is now correctly displayed in the Reports section.
- Previously, some users reported that this value was missing from report outputs.
- This field helps OSPs reconcile enterprise data across systems. Now, filtering and matching by internal ID is fully supported.
3. Settings Menu Now Available to All OSPs
- In a past release, we introduced a Settings section in the left menu. However, some OSPs could not access it due to a permissions issue.
- This has now been resolved. All OSPs will see the Settings option.
- Within Settings, you will find:
- Appearance: Upload or change your login screen logo, top-of-page logo, splash screen, favicon, and platform color scheme (left menu and bottom).
- Fees: Configure default fee values to pre-fill in new Deal Registrations. This saves time and reduces repetitive entry.
- These settings are available only to OSP users, not enterprises.
4. Auto-Formatting for Phone Numbers in BCID Applications
- We’ve implemented automatic formatting for all telephone number fields within the BCID Application process.
- As the user types, the system will auto-insert dashes after the third and sixth digits.
- This helps reduce formatting errors and ensures number consistency across applications.
- Applies to fields like:
- Applicant Phone Number
- Consumer Protection Contact Number
- Any other phone number entries throughout the BCID form
5. BCID Application: Auto-Date on Registrant Obligations
- In Step 7 of the BCID Application, we show a pop-up titled “Registrant Obligations for BCID Application Submission.”
- Previously, users had to manually select the submission date using a calendar input.
- To reduce the risk of selecting incorrect past or future dates, the submission date is now automatically populated based on the actual submission time.
- The user will only need to:
- Input their full name
- Certify the obligations by checking the box
6. BCID Application: Step Titles Added
- We’ve added titles to each of the 7 BCID Application steps.
- Previously, users only saw step numbers (e.g., Step 1, Step 2) without knowing what each step entailed.
- With this change, users can now anticipate what type of information is coming in each section, improving clarity and reducing friction during application submission.
7. API Documentation Cleanup
- Some outdated or irrelevant API endpoints were previously visible in our platform documentation.
- These endpoints have now been hidden to prevent confusion or misimplementation.
- A more comprehensive overhaul of the API documentation is planned for Sprint 1.6.1, which will include:
- Clearer descriptions
- Parameter definitions
- Example requests and responses
8. Editable Customer Contact Email in Deal Registration
- OSPs can now edit the email address of the Customer Primary Contact on an existing deal.
- To do this, go to the Registered Deals section, click Actions > Edit, and update the email field.
- Upon saving, the platform will display a confirmation message:
- If you proceed, a new login link will be sent to the updated email address and a new user account will be created.
- This fix allows OSPs to correct any typos or resend access if the original email was incorrect at the time of submission.
9. Internal Development: In-House Vetting Infrastructure Completed
- While not yet visible to OSPs, this sprint was a major milestone for the in-house vetting process.
- We completed the internal vetting screens and connected them to:
- Our platform's deal and application management flows
- The external BCID APIs to generate display identity IDs
- These backend improvements ensure that once a BCID application is submitted, we’re immediately notified and can begin vetting without delay.
- This enhances our ability to deliver faster and more accurate approvals.
Why These Changes Matter to You
- You now have greater flexibility in deal creation (decimal fees, editable contact emails)
- Application input is faster, clearer, and less prone to errors
- Reports and filters now reflect accurate internal IDs for better reconciliation
- Platform customization is available to all OSPs for branding and automation
- BCID application review time will be reduced as we continue streamlining our in-house vetting process.
