Detailed Changes

1. Export Reports from the UI

  • What’s Changed: A new “Export” option within the platform to directly download critical reports (e.g., Settlement Data Report).
  • Benefit to OSPs: Simplifies billing reviews and auditing by providing instant offline access to up-to-date data.

2. Estimated Monthly Call Volume Field

  • What’s Changed: Deal Registration now includes an optional field for predicted monthly call volumes.
  • Benefit to OSPs: Improves forecasting capabilities and helps both OSPs and admins plan system load and future billing estimates.

3. Make Fees Optional in Deal Registration

  • What’s Changed: You can now submit deal registrations without specifying fees if those details aren’t finalized yet.
  • Benefit to OSPs: Ensures faster submissions and flexibility. You no longer have to delay registrations due to incomplete fee info.

4. Enhanced Application Form & Validation

  • What’s Changed:
    • Better instructions and optional steps if certain consumer data isn’t required.
    • Improved error handling (e.g., issues with extra spaces).
    • Updated dashboard permission naming for clarity.
  • Benefit to OSPs: A smoother application process, fewer form errors, and clearer next steps for completion.

5. Display OSP ID on Home Page

  • What’s Changed: Your unique OSP ID is now visible on your main dashboard or home screen.
  • Benefit to OSPs: You can quickly identify and confirm your BCID identity without digging through settings or other menus.

6. Deal Registration Activities in Fee Table

  • What’s Changed: The fee table now captures relevant activities linked to deal registrations in one central view.
  • Benefit to OSPs: Makes it easier to track potential costs or any extra fees associated with new deals, promoting more accurate record-keeping.

7. Aggregate Billing Settlement Report for NumHub Admin

  • What’s Changed: An admin-level reporting feature enabling NumHub to compile a single settlement report covering all Branded Calling activity.
  • Benefit to OSPs: While more of a behind-the-scenes feature, it leads to streamlined billing cycles and potentially fewer errors in monthly or quarterly statements.

8. Infrastructure & Test Environment Setup for the White Label Platform

  • What’s Changed: A dedicated test environment plus refined CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust deployment processes without affecting production.
  • Benefit to OSPs: Fewer bugs and more stable releases, as new features can be fully tested before going live.

9. (SPIKE) Settlement Summary & Detailed Reports via FTP

  • What’s Changed: We’re investigating the possibility of delivering large settlement reports through FTP, a secure file transfer method.
  • Benefit to OSPs: For those handling mass data or wanting automated offline backups, this could enable efficient high-volume reporting in future releases.

10. UI & Navigation Improvements

  • What’s Changed:
    • The navigation bar locks open on larger screens (above 100% resolution).
    • The back button in Deal Registration properly returns you to the home page.
    • Various UI bug fixes (e.g., data display issues, layout adjustments).
  • Benefit to OSPs: Provides a more intuitive workflow, prevents confusion, and eliminates common navigational hiccups.

11. System & API Refinements

  • What’s Changed:
    • API endpoint naming updated to better align with the new “Applications” terminology.
    • Backend code refactoring for improved error handling, validation, and performance.
    • Introduction of Azure Functions for automated settlement confirmations and signing confirmations, running every 15 minutes.
  • Benefit to OSPs: Though less visible, these changes ensure greater reliability, consistent performance, and automated handling of key operational tasks.
