Quick Peek – What We Delivered
Sprint 2.5.1 focuses on improving Display Identity accuracy, strengthening compliance workflows, simplifying API usage, and enhancing user experience across the platform.
During this sprint, we:
- Fixed Display Identity status inconsistencies after deactivation
- Improved attestation tracking and alert behavior
- Enhanced Display Identity webhooks and API payloads
- Expanded Display Identity capabilities for enterprise users
- Simplified API requirements for easier integrations
- Improved login experience and navigation
- Strengthened compliance notification workflows
- Introduced a new Deactivated application state with clear reactivation rules
Detailed Changes
1. Display Identity Deactivation Status Fix
We fixed an issue where a Display Identity could be successfully deactivated in the backend, but still appeared as Active in the UI.
Now, when a Display Identity is deactivated, the status will correctly update in the Display Identity table.
Why this matters:
You can now trust that what you see in the portal accurately reflects the real system state.
2. 180-Day Attestation Alert Fix
We resolved a case where attestation alerts remained visible even after successfully completing the process.
Now, when you complete a 180-day attestation and select “No changes required,” the alert will be properly cleared from the dashboard.
Why this matters:
Eliminates confusion and confirms that your compliance actions were successfully completed.
Hotfixes (Scheduled for Production Release)
3. Display Identity Webhook & Status Alignment (Rejections) *Planned Release to Production: May 22nd, 2026
We improved how rejected Display Identity change requests are handled across both UI and webhooks.
Enhancements include:
- Webhook payloads now include the proposed (rejected) changes
- Rejection comments are clearly included
- Display Identity remains correctly marked as Active after rejection
- Status now reflects the correct object:
- Change Request = Rejected
- Display Identity = Active
Why this matters:
You will have full visibility into what was rejected while maintaining accurate Display Identity status.
4. Enable Enterprise Users to Add Display Identities *Planned Release to Production: May 22nd, 2026
Enterprise users with Display Identity access can now:
- Add new Display Identities directly from the portal
- Submit requests without relying on the OSP
Why this matters:
Gives your enterprise customers more flexibility and reduces operational dependency on OSP admins.
5. Simplified Display Identity Update API *Planned Release to Production: May 22nd, 2026
We simplified the Update Display Identity API by removing internal NumHub-only fields.
Now the API uses:
- EID (Enterprise ID)
- Display Identity ID
- Parent ID / Deal ID (if applicable)
Why this matters:
Makes integrations cleaner, easier to use, and aligned with external-facing identifiers.
6. Auto-Assign Display Identity Access to Enterprise Users *Planned Release to Production: May 22nd, 2026
All newly created enterprise users will now automatically receive Display Identity access.
If you prefer to restrict this access, you can contact our team to adjust permissions.
Why this matters:
Ensures enterprise users can immediately manage their branding without additional setup.
7. Login Experience Simplification
We removed unused login options:
- Sign in with Auth0
- Sign in with your organization
Remaining options include:
- Microsoft
Why this matters:
Reduces confusion and streamlines the login experience for users.
Compliance & Notification Enhancements
8. Automated Compliance Email Reminders (180-Day & Annual Re-Verification)
We introduced a structured email reminder system for compliance actions.
OSP users will now receive:
- Initial notification when attestation or re-verification is due
- Daily reminder emails until completed
- Clear deadline (10 business days)
Enterprise users will receive:
- Initial notification
- Confirmation email after submission
Why this matters:
Ensures compliance actions are completed on time and reduces risk of missed deadlines.
9. Enterprise Notifications for 180-Day Attestation
Enterprise users will now:
- Receive notification when attestation is due
- Receive confirmation once submitted
Why this matters:
Keeps enterprise users informed and improves collaboration between OSPs and their customers.
API Improvements
10. Display Identity Deactivation API Simplification
We updated the deactivation API to use:
- EID (instead of internal NumHub IDs)
Why this matters:
Improves API usability and consistency across the platform.
New Feature: Deactivated BCID Application Status
11. New “Deactivated” Application State
We introduced a new Deactivated status for BCID applications.
When all Display Identities are removed:
- The BCID application becomes Deactivated
- A 10-day window is triggered
Within this window:
- You can add a new Display Identity without re-vetting
After 10 days:
- The application remains deactivated
- A full vetting process is required to reactivate
Notifications include:
- Deactivation confirmation
- Deadline to restore service
- Instructions to add a new Display Identity
Why this matters:
Gives you flexibility to temporarily pause service without immediately restarting the vetting process.
UI / UX Improvements
12. Settings Navigation Update
We reorganized the portal navigation:
- Moved Users under Settings
- Added sub-sections:
- Users
- Appearance
- Fees
- Webhook Security
Why this matters:
Creates a cleaner and more scalable navigation structure.
Email Enhancement
13. OSP CC on Reference Verification Emails
OSP users will now be copied on internal reference verification emails.
Why this matters:
- Confirms emails were successfully sent
- Helps track verification progress
- Builds trust with enterprise users
- Speeds up troubleshooting
Why It Matters to You
- More accurate Display Identity status and behavior
- Improved compliance tracking and visibility
- Cleaner and simpler API integrations
