Detailed Changes
1. Standardized ID Naming in API Payloads
OSPs were facing confusion distinguishing between IDs generated by BCID, NumHub, or their own system. To solve this:
NumHub-generated IDs are now prefixed with
numhub_, such asnumhub_identity_idornumhub_entity_id.Internal ID, which is entered by the OSP during deal registration, remains unchanged—this is for your own internal tracking.
All BCID-provided IDs (e.g.,
EID,Display Identity ID, etc.) remain untouched to preserve clarity and standardization.
This helps OSP developers better map fields across systems without ambiguity.
2. Saved Column Preferences in Report Table
Users can now save their Settlement Report view preferences. Once you choose which columns to display:
The platform remembers your selection across sessions.
This preference is saved per user—even within the same OSP—making your report experience more personal and consistent.
3. New Column-Level Filters in Report Table
To enhance report usability, we’ve added new filters to the Settlement Report table, including:
Carrier (e.g., Verizon)
Specific Phone Number
Claim Type (e.g., name only, name + logo, full claim with name/logo/call reason)
This allows users to easily narrow down the dataset and answer specific business questions (e.g., “How many calls this month showed logo + call reason?”).
4. 180-Day Attestation – Editable Per Step
We’ve upgraded the 180-day attestation workflow for more control:
The 7-step BCID application is now displayed step-by-step.
You choose which step(s) to edit—others remain read-only.
The platform tracks only the steps you edited.
Only changes to Steps 2, 3, 5, or 7 will incur vetting charges. All other updates are free.
This new logic streamlines attestation and avoids unnecessary vetting or charges.
5. Targeted Partial Vetting Charges
To reduce cost and improve transparency:
The platform now detects which specific step was edited.
Only those steps are vetted and billed (e.g., changing Step 7 = charge for new logo or display name vet only).
This prevents full re-vetting charges for minor updates.
6. Limit Edit Access to Flagged Steps
When a BCID application is flagged (but not rejected), users can now only edit the specific flagged steps:
Steps that already passed vetting are locked to avoid unintended changes.
Clear notifications are sent by email and shown on the platform.
Comments explain what must be fixed and why.
This ensures faster turnaround and avoids rework on already approved steps.
7. Internal Vetting Improvements
Behind the scenes, we’ve continued to enhance our internal automation and workflows. Thanks to these improvements:
Our vetting team is now consistently reviewing most BCID applications in under 1 hour.
This helps you and your enterprise customers move through the branding process quickly and efficiently.
Why This Matters to You
With the new ID naming in API payloads, you save time trying to figure out where each ID came from. It’s now clearer what’s NumHub-generated, BCID-provided, or added by your team.
The new column-level filters in the Settlement Report let you instantly filter the data you need—no more scrolling through unnecessary rows. It’s faster and more focused.
Saved report column preferences mean your custom view will always be there when you return—no need to re-select your setup each time.
The new attestation workflow is more organized and easier to follow. You’ll clearly see which steps can be edited and only update what’s truly needed.
When an application is flagged, we now limit the edit access to just those flagged steps. This helps you avoid confusion and focus only on what needs to be corrected.
Thanks to our internal vetting improvements, you can expect fewer delays. We’re getting faster at reviewing BCID applications without sacrificing quality.
