This document outlines the process for managing vendor port-out requests through PortControl's Vendor Port-out Portal (VPOP).
Receiving Port-Out Requests
Vendors (carriers) will submit a port-out request to your SPID through PortControl VPOP feature. If you are signed up to receive notifications you will be notified by email or webhook of the new port-out request.
Approve or Reject Port-Out Requests

Login to PortControl & Navigate to the Orders Dashboard Tab
- Review the Orders Dashboard and select the new Port-Out request.
- You are able to filter on your dashboard to view just port-outs requests.

3. Select +Action and Approve or Reject Order

- Approved Orders:
- Enter due date and select Yes
- The port out SV will automatically be created once the order is approved
- Port Request complete
- Rejected Orders:
- Select Rejection Reason
- The order provides standard list of rejection codes and if rejection code is not listed or there are multiple reasons for rejection, select "other" and enter specific comments
- If the vendor has signed up for notifications they will receive the notice of the rejected order(s) and have the ability to review and supplement the order with needed information.

Notifications
The portal allows both clients and vendors to subscribe to notifications regarding porting updates. To enable VPOP notifications, please select the link below to VPOP notifications.
Instructions to Vendors
Good afternoon,
We have streamlined our porting process and are now using PortControl for all of our porting traffic. Please follow the steps below to have your team complete the sign-up process on this platform.
- Navigate to https://app.porting.com/#/LoginSetting
- When signing up for the first time the initiator will be the Admin on the account and once approved will be able to create additional users for this vendor account.
**Note: As a Vendor you do not need to sign up multiple times to port from other clients of PortControl, once you're signed up you have the ability to port from all PortControl Clients**
**There is no user limitations**
